Wicomico County, on behalf of Department of Aviation, is issuing this Request for Information ("RFI") to receive feedback from interested, qualified parties who may seek to provide non- exclusive fixed base operator ("FBO") services at the Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport ("SBY") effective July 1, 2025.
Request for Information documents, for the above referenced project, may be obtained from the Wicomico County Purchasing Department by either e-mailing the purchasing@wicomicocounty.org, or by calling 410-548-4805 during normal business hours, or via the County's Bids page on the County's website.
Question and Answer Conference call is scheduled at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. This session will provide the County an opportunity to discuss the FBO in more detail and to provide clarification to industry and to interestedparties. Please RSVP to Tony Rudy 410-548-4827 to receive call-in information.
Visit/Tour opportunities will be scheduled between Friday, March 8, 2024 and Friday, March 22, 2024. Please contact Tony to confirm and coordinate the visit.
Submit Questions via email to purchasing@wicomicocounty.org. Questions will be answered by posted Addendum on the Wicomico County website. Vendors are responsible for checking this website for addenda prior to submitting their bids. Wicomico County is not responsible for the content of any Bid Document received through any third party bid service. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their Completed Request for Information Documents. Questions will be received until 5 days prior to the submission due date (Friday, March 29, 2024 by noon), to allow time for us to answer and post Addenda.
RFI Submissions are due no later than Friday, April 5, 2024 by 2:00 p.m. Submissions should be sent to the following three (3) email addresses (Purchasing@WicomicoCounty.org, rudy@wicomicocounty.org, & Dan.Benzon@benzongroup.com.
Late Submissions will not be accepted.
Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of the solicitation.
